Here we present some tips for what you, as a young newcomer to Sweden, can do in your spare time.
Kulturskolan - school of the arts
Would you like to sing or learn how to play an instrument? Do you like to dance, paint and sculpt or play theater? At the School of the arts, we offer teaching in music, dance, drama, film and art.
The School of the arts activities are aimed at all children and young people aged 6–20. We also have a range of activities that are adapted for children and young people with various disabilities.

Culture and library
Culture and library arrange so that children and parents can listen to music, watch theater and dance together at Dergårdsteatern. At the libraries in Lerum, there are books, audio books, magazines, etcetera to borrow for free. Children can get their own library card at the age of four. The libraries arrange various activities for children of all ages, and everything is free of charge.

Leisure and sports
There are over 100 associations in the municipality. Many of the associations run all year round. A varied and wonderful outdoor life offers nature and the lakes just around the corner.
